Christmas dinner (or a Christmas meal) is a tradition observed by many in the Western culture. It is a meal held on Christmas Day (either the midday or afternoon meal) to celebrate the holiday. A traditional Christmas meal consists of many dishes, most noticeably the ham, or turkey. Christmas meals are often large, with plenty of good food. Christmas dinners differ around the world and can be representative of the culture.
